Logs for Leeds homes
If you light the stove most evenings from October to March, the XL tonne bag holds about 30% more than a standard tonne bag, so you reorder less often. A standard tonne bag suits most homes. New to us? A 40-litre net bag is a cheap way to try the logs first.

Smoke control in Leeds
Leeds City Council says many areas of the city are covered by smoke control orders. Enter your postcode on the smoke control map linked from the council's air quality page: a shaded address has restrictions. The council notes that unrestricted areas tend to be former industrial parts of the city and some outlying areas.
If your address is shaded, burn logs only in a Defra-exempt stove. If you are buying a new stove, your installer should check your location and tell you whether the appliance is suitable.
